Alain Lemieux, President (L.L.D)

Founding President of AGP, Me Lemieux has been acting since 1989 as a consultant specializing in government relations and public affairs. He previously served as Special Assistant to the Minister of State of Finance, Advisor to the Economic and Treaty Law Division of the Department of External Affairs of Canada and Special Advisor to the Quebec Minister of International Relations.

Holder of academic degrees by Canadian, British and French institutions such as the «Institut d’études politiques» de Paris and the London School of Economics and Political Science, Me Lemieux is the author of many publications and has been a visiting professor by renowned universities. Me Lemieux has also taught courses in the fields of Fundamental public law, Public administration law, Public international law, International economic law and Competition law.

Involved in his community and profession, Me Lemieux is a founding member of the Association québécoise des lobbyistes (AQL) and was Chairman of the board of the Association of the Quebec World Trade Center, President of the Quebec Garrison Club, member of the Quebec Officers' Mess, member of the board of the Forum francophone des affaires and member of the board of the Musée de la civilisation Foundation.

Me Lemieux is currently President of the Foundation 35 Service Battalion and LCol (h) of the 35 Service Battalion. Me Lemieux is also co-founder of «Complexe de baseball Victoria».

Richard Labrie, Executive Vice President

Mr. Richard Labrie has an extensive experience in both the private and public sectors. With leading expertise in the field of consulting, he has a strong network in both Quebec and Canada.

Richard Labrie acted in the telecommunications field with Bell Canada and later as a consultant. He also served as Minister of Tourism and President of the Assemblée nationale du Québec Chief of Staff. Mr. Labrie also served as Vice-President Manager of the «Régie des télécommunications du Québec» and Director of a Canadian research and information center. His experience allowed him to develop a thorough knowledge of Quebec and Ottawa workings.

Valérie Lachance-Lemieux

Me Lachance-Lemieux joined the firm in 2012. Member of Barreau du Québec and holder of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Master in Business Administration (MBA), she advises our clients in their positioning with public office holders at both provincial and municipal levels. Me Lachance-Lemieux has also developed expertise in public policy analysis, issues management, legal monitoring and supports clients on strategic communications.

Me Lachance-Lemieux also has a wide experience with lobbying activities and their management with the Quebec and Canada Lobbyists Registries. Active within the business and legal communities in Quebec, Me Lachance-Lemieux has developed over the years an impressive network of contacts.

Jonathan Lachance-Lemieux

Mr. Jonathan Lachance-Lemieux is responsible of public relations, communications and research. Holder of a multidisciplinary bachelor's degree and a certificate in journalism from Université Laval, he has been working at AGP since 2015.

Having developed an experience in the communications and public relations sector, Mr. Lachance-Lemieux accompanies our clients in writing press releases, media monitoring and in the design and animation of social networks.

Mr. Jonathan Lachance-Lemieux is deeply involved in the sport community and is member of the board of «Complexe de baseball Victoria».

Marie-Hélène Paiement

Ms. Paiement joined AGP in 2012. With her management experience, she is responsible for all the administrative aspects of the firm's management, accounting, human resources management and financial resources.
