Alain Lemieux, President (L.L.D)

Founding President of AGP, Me Lemieux has been acting since 1989 as a consultant specializing in government relations and public affairs. He previously served as Special Assistant to the Minister of State of Finance, Advisor to the Economic and Treaty Law Division of the Department of External Affairs of Canada and Special Advisor to the Quebec Minister of International Relations.

Holder of academic degrees by Canadian, British and French institutions such as the «Institut d’études politiques» de Paris and the London School of Economics and Political Science, Me Lemieux is the author of many publications and has been a visiting professor by renowned universities. Me Lemieux has also taught courses in the fields of Fundamental public law, Public administration law, Public international law, International economic law and Competition law.

Involved in his community and profession, Me Lemieux is a founding member of the Association québécoise des lobbyistes (AQL) and was Chairman of the board of the Association of the Quebec World Trade Center, President of the Quebec Garrison Club, member of the Quebec Officers' Mess, member of the board of the Forum francophone des affaires and member of the board of the Musée de la civilisation Foundation.

Me Lemieux is currently President of the Foundation 35 Service Battalion and LCol (h) of the 35 Service Battalion. Me Lemieux is also co-founder of «Complexe de baseball Victoria».


Richard Labrie, Executive Vice President

Mr. Richard Labrie has an extensive experience in both the private and public sectors. With leading expertise in the field of consulting, he has a strong network in both Quebec and Canada.

Richard Labrie acted in the telecommunications field with Bell Canada and later as a consultant. He also served as Minister of Tourism and President of the Assemblée nationale du Québec Chief of Staff. Mr. Labrie also served as Vice-President Manager of the «Régie des télécommunications du Québec» and Director of a Canadian research and information center. His experience allowed him to develop a thorough knowledge of Quebec and Ottawa workings.
